On the south coast of Santa Catarina, Praia do Rosa is the only Brazilian bay to be part of the Most Beautiful Bays Club in the world.
With around 5,000 inhabitants in Rosa Beach, it is frequented by visitors all year round, it is not summer the number of people living in the small fishing village, 90 km south of Florianópolis. The place is surrounded by the splendid nature, in a mixture of green of the Atlantic forest with the blue of the Atlantic Ocean, lagoons and sky, that sometimes is in the name of the beach - all Rosa.

THE NORTH ROSE
Walk the trails and live the place
On the Norte side, in the famous Rosa Norte, a 3 km trail gives access to Praia Vermelha, the path starts with a wooden walkway that skirts the coast until the hill climbs. There is a wonderful natural pool there and the look up the hill is indescribable so beautiful!

In the middle of the beach, next to the farm's deck, where restaurants and bars move the day, Lagoa do Meio is an enchanted paradise close to the Aldeia dos Anjos do Rosa, great for swimming and for the fun of children. One option is to wake up early and dive into the tranquil lagoon observing and feeling nature.

The Charms of the Rosa
At the south corner of the beach, up the hill, you reach the end of the Caminho do Rei trail, a walk of about 2.5 km that gives access to the beach of Luz and Barra da Lagoa de Ibiraquera, with Batuta Island well in front. The trail ride is very worthwhile from July to October, when it is possible to spot the right whales that visit these waters to give birth to the giant cubs. A show apart!

With so much nature Praia do Rosa is suitable for outdoor sports, surrounded by lagoons, hills beaches, Rosa is perfect for mountain biking, adventure racing, gliding, sailing, stand up, and traditional surfing, which attracts surfers all year round in search of the best waves. The buzz is due to the bars scattered around the center and the nightclubs that bring national and international shows shaking the night of Rosa. In gastronomy, the restaurants offer varied dishes that cater to the most refined tastes, but also have homemade ones, for the popular taste.
